China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (“SAMR”) set up the online National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System (“NECIPS”) in 2016, providing official information on companies’ registration details and compliance records to the public.

This platform does not have an English equivalent, and the content contained therein is not exclusive to what a foreign individual would want to know about their Chinese partner’s legal status.

Over the past years, we have been approached by several prudent clients, leading us to develop a comprehensive company verification report template. This template includes, but is not limited to, detailed records of any specifically targeted company.

• Registration details – official company name in Chinese and in English (if applies), shareholders, legal representative, board members, registered & paid-off capital, registered address, date of establishment, term of operation, employee numbers that covered by social security, registration status, e.g. if it still in good standing, business scope etc.
  
• Company compliance rating – taxation, permits, import & export record, check & inspection by governing market supervision bureaus, intellectual property registration status, judicial records etc.
